PRO3 nets P3.57M shabu haul, arrests HVIs in overnight raids

Successful overnight raids (Nov. 12-13) in Central Luzon result in the arrest of HVIs and confiscation of ₱3.5M worth of shabu.

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) seized over P3.5 million worth of suspected shabu and arrested multiple High-Value Individuals (HVIs) in coordinated anti-drug raids across Central Luzon in a single night.
The operations, conducted from late November 12 to the early hours of November 13, yielded the following results:
Talavera, Nueva Ecija (11:40 p.m., Nov. 12): Joint operatives from Talavera MPS, PSOG-NEPPO, and PIU-NEPPO arrested two HVIs and confiscated 75 grams of suspected shabu valued at P510,000.
Balanga City, Bataan (12:30 a.m., Nov. 13): The SDEU of Balanga CPS apprehended a newly identified HVI, seizing 200 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P1,360,000. Authorities also recovered a backpack, mobile phone, and buy-bust money.
Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija (5:30 a.m., Nov. 13): Sto. Domingo MPS, NEPPO units, and RMFB3 arrested another HVI, recovering 50 grams of suspected shabu valued at P340,000.
In total, the coordinated operations secured P3,570,000 worth of suspected illegal drugs.
PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., Regional Director of PRO3, lauded the collaborative efforts of the involved units and reaffirmed the region’s unwavering stance against illegal drugs.
“Inuulit natin, hindi kanlungan ng mga nagpapakalat ng droga ang Gitnang Luzon,” Peñones said. “Determinado ang ating kapulisan sa pagtugis sa mga naninira sa ating mga kabataan at sa komunidad.”
He added that these accomplishments directly support the PNP Focused Agenda of Acting Chief PNP PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., particularly in strengthening operational competence, accountability, and strategic police operations.
