Anjo Yllana has revealed a secret he long kept at bay — that he and Eat Bulaga junior host Jose Manalo had a quarrel.
I’m in his latest TikTok post, Yllana recalled the unfinished business he and Manalo had.
“When I was separated from my wife, I had a girlfriend. I loved her. In fact, we lived in for almost one year. It cannot be avoided that we have quarrels, lover’s quarrel. That girlfriend of mine is an Eat Bulaga dancer. I like kind-hearted, not rich and hardworking,” Yllana recalled in Filipino.
During their LQ moment, Yllana revealed that his girlfriend confided to him.
“Jose Manalo scolded her. ‘Why are you associating yourself with a married guy. He has a wife. You leave Anjo, he already has a wife,” Yllana recalled his girlfriend saying.
“So, the ending, when we separated, this Jose Manalo betrayed me that’s why he did it to me. Now, Mergene Maranan is his wife. She was my girlfriend for one year,” he revealed.
“Jose Manalo is part of the syndicate (in Eat Bulaga) who whispers who should be booted out (in the show). Probably, he was the one who destroyed me. Why? It’s because modesty aside, I am better looking than him,” Yllana shared.
Yllana was baffled when a Sex Bomb lyric was altered from “Si Anjo Yllana mukhang may pagtingin” (Yllana has eyes for) to “Si Jose Manalo mukhang may pagtingin (Manalo has eyes for). He believes that Manalo had a hand in the alteration of the hit Sex Bomb song.
Any comment, Jose Manalo?
Dream come true for Maymay Entrata
With her reed-thin figure and almost towering height, Maymay Entrata is not only a shoo-in for fashion, she’s also fit for action.
Actually, Entrata is manifesting to do an action series and her prayers have been heard when she was cast in ROJA with Donny Pangilinan and Kyle Echarri in the lead. The actress plays a sous chef who is adept in arnis, martial arts and the use of knives.
“I’m most excited with the action scenes because I’m a big fan of action movies. And I was dreaming of doing action role for the longest.time,” she said after the screening of the series at Cinema 6 in Trinoma.
“It’s perfect timing. I feel it’s the most opportune time to apply what I learned in acting,” she added.
Although the first few episodes only showed her in a sparring act with Pangilinan, Entrata revealed that there will be a plethora of action scenes in future episodes as they fight against the team of Joel Torre who mounted a heist at their resort.
“If you see in the BTS (behind the scenes) and other clips, I used knives so my expertise really is knife. This is survival and i get to use anything,” she said.
