Meralco crews and personnel continue to work safely and diligently to restore power to customers affected by service interruptions caused by Typhoon Uwan.
As of 6:00 p.m. on November 10, the number of affected customers has further decreased to 113,000 — about 1% of Meralco’s total customer base. Most of the remaining customers are in parts of Cavite, Bulacan, and Rizal, while others are in portions of Metro Manila, Laguna, Quezon, and Batangas.
Meralco reminded customers to continue observing safety precautions.
Meanwhile, One Meralco Foundation has begun mobilizing employee volunteers for disaster response and relief efforts in areas hardest hit by the typhoon.
