Senior communications executive Joe R. Zaldarriaga has formally joined the National Press Club (NPC), a professional and social organization dedicated to upholding press freedom and promoting the advancement of Philippine journalism.
Zaldarriaga, who serves as the vice president and head of Corporate Communications for Meralco, took his oath during the celebration of the NPC’s 73rd founding anniversary in Intramuros, Manila.
He was seen with NPC president Leonel Abasola of the Philippine News Agency (PNA); NPC director and co-chairperson of the Membership Committee Madz Dominguez of Abante; and NPC directors Aya Yupangco (DWIZ), Jun Mendoza (PhilStar), and Dennis Napule (Remate), who are all members of the NPC Membership Committee.
Zaldarriaga is a columnist who authors “Espresso Mornings,” a weekly column published by the PNA, and “The Z Factor,” which appears weekly in another broadsheet. He has a history of supporting the media community and promoting high standards of integrity and professionalism within the communications industry.
