In a stirring convergence of beauty, duty, and environmental advocacy, the Miss Earth 2025 candidates under Team Air visited the Philippine Air Force (PAF) on 30 October 2025, at Villamor Air Base, Pasay City, as part of the pageant’s grand Silver Anniversary celebration.
This year’s visit carried a theme that resonated deeply with both organizations — a shared mission to protect life, preserve the planet, and inspire purposeful action. It was more than just a courtesy call; it was a reminder that the defense of the nation includes the defense of nature itself.
The delegates took part in tree-planting and golf fellowship activities, symbolizing unity in nurturing both the environment and camaraderie. They also toured key PAF facilities, learning about the Air Force’s efforts toward environmental stewardship, disaster response, and sustainability programs.
During the event, LtGen Arthur M. Cordura, PAF, underscored the vital link between national security and environmental health.
“A nation can only be truly secure when its environment thrives,” he said, drawing applause from both military personnel and Miss Earth participants.
The collaboration between the Philippine Air Force and Miss Earth reaffirmed a timeless truth: true beauty lies not in what we possess, but in what we protect. Together, they stood as symbols of vigilance and hope — guardians of our skies, and stewards of our Earth.
