The Eastern Police District (EPD) is set to mobilize its full force to ensure public safety, security, and convenience during this year’s All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

EPD said it is committed to providing maximum police visibility, security, and public assistance in the cities of Pasig, Mandaluyong, Marikina, and San Juan to ensure a peaceful and orderly commemoration for residents and visitors.

A total of 561 EPD personnel will be deployed to six public and eight private cemeteries within the district’s jurisdiction.

An additional 270 personnel will serve as anti-criminality teams in major convergence areas such as transport terminals, malls, and main thoroughfares, while 104 personnel will comprise the reactionary standby support force at district headquarters, ready for immediate deployment if necessary.

Furthermore, 681 civilian partners and force multipliers will assist EPD personnel in cemeteries, supporting traffic management, public assistance, and crowd control. Their participation underscores the importance of community collaboration and shared responsibility in maintaining public order.

Police assistance desks will be established in all cemeteries and convergence points to provide support and respond promptly to emergencies and concerns.

Target-hardening measures will be implemented at vital installations, alongside round-the-clock foot and mobile patrols to ensure continuous law enforcement visibility and deter criminal activity.

To maintain operational discipline and accountability, EPD will conduct random inspections of deployment sites and personnel, reinforcing the district’s commitment to presence, responsiveness, and public safety.
