A notorious drug trader and seven others were arrested in the province of Nueva Ecija on 22 and 23 October 2025.
According to the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO), the anti-illegal drug operations led to the seizure of P169,252 worth of illegal drugs.
According to the report, joint elements of the Rizal PS (lead unit), PIU, and PPDEU conducted an Anti-illegal Drug Buy-bust Operation in Barangay Estrella, Rizal, that resulted in the arrest of alias Tita Este, 50, a notorious drug trader in the area.
The undercover police operative was able to purchase one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu.
During the arrest, another 11.99 grams of the same substance, with an estimated DDB value of P81,532, along with the five-hundred-peso buy-bust money, were seized from her possession.
Moreover, seven other drug traffickers were also arrested in similar operations by San Antonio PS, Cabiao PS (2), Gapan City PS, Palayan City PS, San Antonio PS, and Talavera PS in their AORs. Seized during the operation was MOL 12.9 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P87,720.
The suspects will be charged with violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
