Toyota powers Pasay’s free community shuttle program for another year
Published on

The City Government of Pasay has officially relaunched its free shuttle ride program, powered by Toyota, as part of efforts to achieve its ‘smart city’ mobility goals. The Toyota Community Shuttle (TCS) program, which first ran from December 2023 to January 2025, will now operate for another year starting 12 August 2025.

Toyota Mobility Solutions Philippines, Inc. (TMSPH) continues to provide digital mobility solutions for the program, offering a one-year free subscription to the myTOYOTA Shuttle PH app. The platform enables optimized route planning and seat booking for passengers. Additionally, the Toyota Fleet Connected Service allows administrators to monitor vehicle usage and driving behavior data, ensuring efficient and safe operations.

The shuttle fleet consists of five Toyota Lite Ace units donated by Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation (TMP) in March 2025. The TCS program is a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative designed to support local government units in enhancing community mobility through connected and shared technologies.

During the relaunch announcement at Pasay City Hall, city officials and Toyota representatives highlighted the partnership’s role in providing reliable, safe, and accessible transport for residents. In attendance were Pasay City councilor Ian Vendivel, vice mayor Mark Calixto, Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano, TMP Senior Vice President Jhohana Mamonong, TMSPH President Ma. Christina Fe Arevalo, and TMSPH Chief Operating Officer Ryo Yokoyama.
