Senator Camille Villar and former Senator Cynthia Villar on Thursday led the inauguration of new infrastructure and equipment at the Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center.
The upgrades, funded by the Villars, include new CT and MRI scanners, a connecting bridge, and the Senator Cynthia Villar Multi-Purpose Hall. According to officials, the projects are intended to enhance the hospital’s ability to provide quality healthcare to residents of Las Piñas and surrounding areas.
The Villars were also instrumental in the expansion of the hospital’s bed capacity to 500 through Republic Act 11497, which led to the construction of a new 12-story building. This expansion will allow the hospital to serve more patients and broaden its service capabilities.
