The Manila Hotel has reopened its Heritage Museum following extensive enhancements designed to offer a more immersive and engaging historical experience. Situated at the hotel’s lobby level, the revitalized museum features a thoughtfully curated collection of artifacts, documents and interactive displays that celebrate the hotel’s pivotal role in Philippine history, culture and hospitality since its establishment in 1912.
The updated museum showcases the hotel’s rich architectural and cultural heritage, notable guests, world leaders and its contributions to Philippine society over the past century. Previously unseen photographs, antique décor pieces and other rare memorabilia are now on display, offering visitors a deeper glimpse into the moments that shaped The Manila Hotel’s storied legacy. Highlights include digital installations, the hotel’s oldest surviving menu, and a curated exhibit of antique furniture.
“The Heritage Museum is more than a walk through the past — it’s a tribute to The Manila Hotel and its enduring connection with our nation’s history. Every piece on display was carefully selected to reflect our story as a living landmark,” said Rachy Cuna, The Manila Hotel’s social director and design consultant.
Catering to both history enthusiasts and casual visitors, the museum embodies the hotel’s continued commitment to honoring and preserving its legacy.
