'Extreme Job' actor Song Young Kyu found dead

Song Young Kyu was found dead inside a parked vehicle in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province morning of 4 August. He was 55.

The police are considering an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Last month, the veteran actor was arrested for DUI. Authorities report he was driving under the influence for five kilometers. He had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent.

Due to the incident, he was immediately dropped from the dramas The Defects and The Winning Try.

With a career spanning over three decades, Song built a reputation for portraying complex supporting characters. Aside from Extreme Job, he was known internationally for his roles in Narco-Saints, Big Bet, Reply 1988 and Come and Hug Me.

Song is survived by his wife and two children.
