President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will embark on a five-day state visit to the Republic of India from 4 to 8 August 2025, upon the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During the visit, Marcos will hold official meetings with business leaders in New Delhi and Bangalore. He is also scheduled to meet with the Filipino community in New Delhi.
The state visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and India.
The last visit by a Philippine president to India was in October 2007, by former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. In 2019, former Indian President Ram Nath Kovind paid a state visit to the Philippines.
