Pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were seen having dinner together at a Montreal restaurant on Monday, 28 July, according to a report by TMZ.

The two dined at Le Violon, where they reportedly shared cocktails and dishes including lobster. After their meal, they were said to have personally thanked the chef and kitchen staff.

This public outing comes about a month after PEOPLE confirmed Perry had ended her engagement to actor Orlando Bloom. The two had been together on and off for nearly a decade and got engaged in 2019. Their representatives later said the pair had been transitioning their relationship to focus on co-parenting.
