Richard Gutierrez, Barbie Imperial going strong

There’s no truth to the rumored breakup between Richard Gutierrez and Barbie Imperial.

This, vlogger and talent manager Ogie Diaz said in his latest Youtube vlog.

“Mayroon tayong nakausap na close kay Barbie at Richard at sinabing sila pa rin,” Diaz said. (We talked to somebody close to Barbie and Richard and he said they’re still together.

Rumors of the breakup spread as photos of Gutierrez with a certain Charlotte Winter surfaced on social media.

Diaz revealed that those photos were taken last year during a party they both attended. It was their first and last meeting.  Winter approached Gutierrez and asked him about showbiz. That’s how their short banter went.

The highlight of their journey  was a trip to the location where the hit Koreanovela, Crash Landing On You was shot, Sigriswil Bridge.

Detox for Xyriel Manabat

For Xyriel Manabat, being in the Pinoy Big Brother House is some kind of a detox.

For someone who is not so focused on gadgets, Manabat felt quite normal to have veered away from social media the entire time she was a housemate in the Celebrity Collab Edition of PBB.

“Ako po, hindi ako tutok na tutok sa cellphone. Magpo-phone lang ako kapag kailangan sa work, may kailangang sagutin or assikasuhin,” she said during Star Magic Spotlight mediacon recently. (Me, I’m not focused on my cellphone. I will use my phone when it’s needed for work,  if I need to answer something or attend  to).

“Na-enjoy ko siya. (I enjoyed it),” she said about her short stint.  

“Para siyang detox. Hindi ko rin siya hinanap. Hindi ko na-miss ang phone ko,” she explained. ( It’s like a detox. I didn’t look for it. I did not miss my phone).

For Manabat, being without a gadget for weeks was a “breath of fresh air.”

“Refreshing siya kasi parang ang lahat umiikot sa cellphone. Kaya palang mag-survive ng mga tao na walang gadget, walang kahit anong balita from the outside world,” she said. (It’s refreshing because it’s like everything revolves around cellphone. People can survive without gadgets, no news about the outside world).

Bernadette Sembrano loses luggage in Switzerland

Broadcaster Bernadette Sembrano’s family trip to Switzerland was marred by an unfortunate incident — they lost a luggage as soon as they arrived at the mountainous Central European country.

Sembrano made mention of the incident in her latest Youtube vlog.

“Kakarating lang namin sa (We just came from)  Switzerland.  I’m documenting this hoping... hoping we retrieve a luggage that we lost somewhere  here. We started the trip. We reported it and let’s hope that we find it. If we find it, then we will vlog about it,” Sembrano initially said in her vlog.

While there, Sembrano and her husband Emilio Aguinaldo IV explored the mountain ranges of Zermatt; tried the Laderach chocolate; ate in a Swiss inn and tried Swiss cheese fondue; and took a boat trip to Lake Brienz.
