The Department of Information and Communications Technology is gearing up for a major move as it sets its sights on a new home at Studio 7, a mixed-use development by Filinvest Land Inc. in Quezon City. The relocation marks a significant shift from the agency’s longtime base in Diliman, aligning with its goal of modernizing government operations through better access and updated facilities.
Spanning approximately 8,120 square meters, the new headquarters will occupy the 19th to 22nd floors of the LEED Silver-certified office tower, with space designed to accommodate around 1,350 employees. DICT will also have access to 90 parking slots for four-wheeled vehicles and 40 for two-wheelers, enhancing mobility for staff and visitors alike.
Set for the fourth quarter of 2025, the move reflects the agency’s push for a more efficient and commuter-friendly workplace. Located along EDSA and within walking distance of MRT-3 GMA-Kamuning Station, Studio 7 offers direct access to key transit points and everyday conveniences.
“We are proud to welcome DICT to Studio 7. This win validates our strategic direction to diversify our leasing portfolio and support government modernization,” said Filinvest Land President and CEO Tristan Las Marias.
Studio 7’s design focuses on both productivity and wellness, offering energy-efficient infrastructure, modern systems, and access to dining, retail, and wellness amenities. The building is part of Filinvest’s broader strategy to attract long-term government tenants, especially as BPO companies re-evaluate their office space needs.
DICT joins other national agencies that have partnered with Filinvest in recent years, including the Department of Trade and Industry, which consolidated its offices at Filinvest Buendia, and the National Bureau of Investigation, which moved its central office to a flood-free location in Pasay.
“These partnerships are more than just lease deals, they are evidence that our developments meet the stringent and evolving standards of government work spaces, while delivering real value to the people who use them every day,” Las Marias added.
The Studio 7 complex also features a 17-storey residential tower with studio and one-bedroom units, giving residents access to amenities such as a swimming pool, fitness stations, landscaped open spaces, and a yoga garden, completing the experience of an integrated live-work-play community in the heart of the city.
