Bataan Governor Joet S. Garcia ordered the suspension of classes in all levels in Bataan on Monday and Tuesday due to downpour that inundated large swaths of low-lying areas in the province.

At the same time, Garcia announced that there will be no work for all government agencies Tuesday.

Private offices, however, was not included in the directive of the governor.

In Orani town, Mayor Jon Arizapa ordered the deployment of heavy equipment to clear various areas in the municipality with tons of debris.

Garcia's action was based on the recommendation of the Office of Civil Defense and DILG to ensure the safety of the students, employes and the public.

Based on the forecast of Pagasa, Bataan will likely be under Orange Rainfall Warning brought about by southwest monsoon.
