CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — Responding policemen arrested a suspect allegedly behind the murder of a 20-year-old female criminology student inside their house in Purok 4 Barangay San Roque, Ozamis City, in Misamis Occidental on Friday.
Ozamiz City police identified the victim as Princess Eliaca, a third-year criminology student who was attacked Friday morning inside their house in Barangay San Roque.
Police report said the victim was home alone Thursday night after her parents went out fishing
The body of the victim was discovered after she was attacked inside her home in Purok 2, Barangay San Roque, Ozamis City.
The victim was a third-year student and the youngest child in the family.
Report said Princess was home alone that night while her parents were out fishing.
The mother said the Princess had asked her older brother not to come home, preferring to stay by herself.
She added that her daughter had been online, chatting with friends from Thursday evening until around 1 a.m.
