SM City Clark is once again turning its halls into a celebration of local talent with the launch of Art for Everyone, an inclusive art fair running from 1 to 14 July. Aimed at making art more accessible and visible to the public, the event offers artists of all ages and backgrounds a rare opportunity to showcase and sell their work in a mainstream venue.
Organized by SM Supermalls, the initiative builds on the momentum of last year’s Gold Stevie Award-winning Art Market by continuing to highlight diversity and accessibility in the arts. This year’s participants range from first-time exhibitors to veteran creators, with artists as young as 4 and as old as 73. True to its name, Art for Everyone proves that creativity has no boundaries.
One of the standout elements of this year’s exhibit is the inclusion of artists with diverse abilities. Among them are Toni and Aljo Pescador, whose vibrant pieces are proudly displayed alongside works from other local talents. Their presence speaks to the exhibit’s mission: to foster an inclusive space where all forms of creative expression are welcome.
“Our goal is to make art accessible to everyone,” said Lourdes Alarcon, Assistant Mall Manager of SM City Clark. “At SM, we believe that talent can come from anyone, anywhere. Supporting artists — whether they are seasoned professionals or children with special needs — is part of our mission to build a more inclusive and empowered community.”
The event is made possible through collaborations with local art collectives, schools, and individual artists who share the common goal of enriching the local art scene. Many familiar names from previous fairs returned, joined by a fresh wave of artists eager to connect with the public.
With rows of colorful canvases, sculptures, and mixed-media pieces on display, Art for Everyone has transformed SM City Clark into a living gallery. And for both visitors and exhibitors, it’s a reminder that art is not just for the elite — it’s for everyone.
