For Andi Eigenmann, a luxury handbag isn’t just a fashion item — it’s a piece of personal history. And now, it’s a keepsake passed lovingly from one generation to the next.
In a recent Instagram post, the actress and island mom revealed that she had officially handed down a prized Balenciaga handbag to her eldest daughter, Ellie. The bag, valued at over P60,000, was one of the first designer pieces Andi bought with her earnings from the hit teleserye Agua Bendita back in 2010.
But what makes the story even more heartfelt is the quiet gesture behind its return. Years ago, Andi had sold off most of her luxury items during a personal shift in priorities. Unbeknownst to her, her late mother, veteran actress Jaclyn Jose, secretly repurchased the Balenciaga bag—a silent act of love and sentimentality.
Now, the bag lives on with Ellie, who’s grown up under the gentle guidance of her mom’s island-rooted, values-centered parenting.
“Now it’s passed on to my not-so-little lady,” Andi wrote in her caption, reflecting not just a moment of style, but of memory, motherhood, and legacy.
