Four individuals were injured after a Cessna plane crashed into a compound in Barangay LDP on the morning of 11 July 2025.
According to Zambales Police Provincial Office (ZPPO) Director Police Col. Benjamin Ariola, Cessna aircraft RP-C-211 went down inside the CDO compound in Purok 3 of the said barangay. The plane reportedly lost control while attempting to take off from Iba Airport.
The victims were identified as flight instructor Capt. Jacques Robert Papio and student pilots Angelo Josh Quinsasay, Althea Kisses Nunez, and Jericho Palma. They were immediately brought to Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital and are now in stable condition, Ariola confirmed.
