IBA, Zambales — Four people were injured when a Cessna plane crashed into a compound in Barangay LDP here on the morning of 11 July.
Zambales Police Provincial Office Director Col. Benjamin Ariola identified the aircraft as Cessna RP-C-211, which crashed at the CDO Compound in Purok 3 shortly after attempting to take off from Iba Airport.
Onboard were flight instructor Capt. Jacques Robert Papio and student pilots Angelo Josh Quinsasay, Althea Kisses Nunez, and Jericho Palma. All four were rushed to Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Hospital and are reported to be in safe condition.
Initial reports suggest the aircraft failed to gain altitude before veering off course.
