Globe Telecom cemented its status as a forward-thinking AI leader at the Digital Transformation World (DTW) Ignite 2025 held in Copenhagen, Denmark, one of the telecom industry’s most influential global events.

Organized by TM Forum, the event focused on digital transformation and provided Globe a global stage to share its AI journey and scalable innovations with international stakeholders.

Globe Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer and Chief Information Security Officer Anton Bonifacio delivered a compelling opening keynote, “Becoming AI & Data Natives,” illustrating the telco’s human-centric AI strategy through the metaphor of a well-run kitchen.

“For Globe, we have a kitchen strategy. It's going to be a foundation-first approach while we're trying to get some things out as far as some of these dishes are concerned… It could be a common set of LLM guardrails. There are a lot of common components there that can be reused,” Bonifacio explained.

He emphasized the company’s commitment to equipping employees with low-code and no-code tools, accessible LLMs, and fostering a safe environment for experimentation and co-creation. “Let the people that are closest to the problems and the pain points solve for things,” he said.

Globe also envisions empowering customers to be part of this innovation ecosystem: “We’d like to be able to empower our customers at some point to cook in the same kitchen so that they can actually collaborate with us.”

Bonifacio cautioned against vendor lock-in and stressed the importance of integrated systems that support collaboration and flexibility. “We're going to wake up in the same nightmare that we are in now, where you got vendor lock-in and overlapping technologies,” he added.

Beyond the keynote, Globe’s Network Digitalization team, led by Dennis R. Abella, brought home three Open Innovation Catalyst Awards: Business Impact, Attendees’ Choice, and Interactive Showcase.

The awards recognized innovations including an AI-powered customer satisfaction engine that applies real-time predictive insights, graph analytics, and automation to enhance user experience and reduce churn.

Globe also presented its AI-native network architecture — built on predictive intelligence, cloud-first scalability, and real-time decision layers — aligned with TM Forum standards.

These milestones reaffirm Globe’s role in transforming customer experience, modernizing network architecture, and leading the global dialogue on telco innovation.
