Mabalacat City, Pampanga – Around P2 million worth of marijuana and marijuana-based products were seized in a buy-bust operation that led to the arrest of three high-value individuals (HVIs) in this city on 2 July 2025.
According to the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), authorities dismantled a suspected drug distribution network in Pampanga after the Mabalacat City Police Station’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bical around 3 PM.
The Mabalacat City Police Office identified the suspects as alias Jek Jek of Barangay Bical, Mabalacat City; alias Josh of Barangay Dau, Mabalacat City; and alias Ana of Barangay Balibago, Angeles City.
Seized during the operation were approximately two kilograms of dried marijuana leaves valued at P240,000; 520 grams of suspected Kush worth P858,000; 218 marijuana-flavored vape cartridges amounting to P872,000; and 19 pieces of marijuana oil worth P30,000 — bringing the total value of confiscated items to over P2 million.
The Mabalacat City Police Office brought the suspects and the evidence to their station for proper disposition.
