Since the year 2000, giant strides in the labor-management collaborative interplay have been achieved through tripartism to promote fairness and flexibility in the workplace.

Admittedly, there are still disruptors and unmet challenges in the employment sector due to the rapid and unprecedented changes in technology, the gig economy, and other unconventional work arrangements.

The constant threat of talent migration with the rising export of manpower remains as the economy is not growing fast enough to absorb the yearly almost one million graduates and new entrants to the labor market.

But tripartism is working feverishly to address this quarter of a century problem and success stories in industries and agriculture are taking place.

Filipinos can look forward to the next quarter century with hope and they can dream of a mutually progressive future for both workers and employers sharing the journey as co-stakeholders in national development.
