TV host and radio personality Amy Perez, affectionately known as “Tyang Amy,” is celebrating one of her proudest moments yet: the college graduation of her eldest son, Adi.
The It’s Showtime host opened up about the emotional journey behind her son’s academic milestone. Sharing photos from the ceremony, Amy wrote: “It wasn’t an easy journey, but with God’s grace, we accomplished it!”
The post struck a chord with countless Filipino parents, particularly mothers who have had to juggle careers while remaining a constant source of love and guidance at home.
Despite the whirlwind of her showbiz life, from taping schedules to radio hosting, Amy has always prioritized her role as a mother. “Grabe ang emosyon. Hindi ko ma-explain ang saya bilang isang ina. Anak, you made me so proud,” she wrote.
Adi’s graduation from a reputable university is more than a milestone; it's a testament to years of sacrifice, late-night study support, and unwavering encouragement from his mother.
The post, tagged #YabuAdi and #Graduate2025, has since gone viral, drawing admiration and congratulations not only for Adi but also for Amy’s quiet strength as a mother.
