Chloe San Jose, Carlos Yulo’s controversial girlfriend, has perfectly timed her rant against Ai Ai delas Alas, just when the Concert Comedy Queen was at her most vulnerable, after confirming her separation with husband Gerald Sibayan. Seemingly, San Jose found it to be the most opportune time to air any sentiments long kept at bay.
Recall that Delas Alas once told this to San Jose, in defense of Angelica Yulo, Carlos’ mom: “Kasi nanay ‘yan, e. Kung wala ‘yung nanay niya, wala kang darling ngayon. Kaya, girl, huwag mo siyang aawayin. Tsaka hindi ka pa asawa, girl. Girlfriend ka pa lang. Kapag asawa ka na, puwede na. Pero kapag girlfriend pa lang girl, huwag mo munang awayin (Because she’s a mom. If there’s no mom, you don’t have a darling now. So girl, don’t fight with her. And besides, you’re not yet a wife. You’re just a girlfriend. When you’re a wife, it’s okay. But when you’re just a girlfriend, don’t put up a fight).”
In a recent social media post, San Jose took a jab at the Concert Comedy Queen: “Back to you mamang, hindi para pagtawanan ang sitwasyon mo pero ang ginagawa mo sa iba ay babalik din sa’yo ng (Back to you mommy, not to laugh at your situation, but what you did to others will return to you) 10 times — it’s just the universe’s law,” she said.
Bea Alonzo denies romantic ties with non-showbiz guy
Seemingly exasperated over reports that she’s found a new guy to love, Bea Alonzo posted a message to clear the air. Netizens felt that Alonzo’s Instagram photo with a guy named Joset Fores was a soft launch of her new inspiration.
Alonzo finally addressed the issue by posting a message on her Instagram stories: “Okay, this is getting out of hand. Can we all relax? WE ARE JUST FRIENDS. And the stories are getting ridiculous. Kalma lang po tayo (Let’s remain calm),” she said.
The controversial photo came almost right on the heels of a viral online video where it showed Sue Ramirez and Dominic Roque, Alonzo’s ex, sharing a kiss. Recall that Alonzo got engaged to Roque in July last year.
‘You saved me’ — Amy Perez
TV host and radio broadcaster Amy Perez, fondly called Tyang Amy by her listeners, table-hopped during the Thanksgiving event for Radyo 630 held at Seda Vertis North recently. As she approached our table, I immediately offered her my apologies for being instrumental in her separation from former husband Brix Ferraris.
I told her I wrote about Ferraris’ inamorata more than two decades ago, and she was a staff of a recording company. I wrote it in Mr. & Ms. Magazine then.
Just two months ago, a college friend revealed that she had a live-in arrangement with Ferraris. They broke up after five years, and she’s now happily married with a Scottish guy and they have three sons.
“Don’t be sorry. You saved me,” Perez told us.
Anyway, Perez shared that she both happy and sad that she’s returned to radio via Radyo 630/TeleRadyo Serbisyo. “Masaya na mayroon ding pressure, hindi ba? Na nasa balikat naming lahat na nasa DWPM dahil siyempre, alam naman natin na hindi pa tuluyang nakakaahon ang programa, ang istasyon (We’re happy but there’s pressure, right? It’s all in our shoulders that were at DWPM because also, we know that the program, the station has not gotten up),” says Perez. “So, masaya dahil nakikita pa rin namin ‘yung mga dati naming katrabaho and at the same time, malungkot kasi alam naming nabawasan kami pero nandito pa rin kami, lumalaban (We’re happy because we see our former co-workers and at the same time we’re sad because we know we have decreased but still we’re here, fighting),” Perez added.
Currently, aside from hosting It’s Showtime, Perez is hosting Radyo 630/TeleRadyo Serbisyo’s Ako ‘To, Si Tyang Amy, a public service program about mental health. It airs Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3 p.m.
