President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will be visiting Osaka, Japan for the World Expo and business meetings, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) announced on Wednesday.
The PCO has yet to share further details regarding the President's trip.
In April, Japanese Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru personally invited Marcos to visit the Osaka Kansai Expo.
The Japan leader was in the country for an official visit.
He also emphasized the presence of the Philippine Pavilion for Expo 2025 Osaka as it attracts visitors.
The structure is designed by Carlo Calma Consultancy Inc., in partnership with Japanese executive architect Cat Inc. It is made of over 1,000 woven rattan strands and over 200 handwoven panels.
With the title "Woven," the Philippine exhibition showcases the interconnectedness of the country with nature, culture, and community.
