A hefty prize pool will be at stake at the Mobile Legends Women's Invitation in the upcoming Esports World Cup, which starts this July in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
A total of sixteen teams from around the world will compete for the lion's share of the $500,000 prize pool, one of the largest in women's esports history.
According to Moonton Head of Esports Ecosystem Ray Ng, the prize pool is the company's way of pushing for inclusivity in the ever-growing world of esports.
"Fostering the charge for women's esports means continuously pushing boundaries," Ng said in a statement.
"The tournament has become a key pillar of our calendar as we look to empower our female athletes with a pathway to build sustainable esports careers and prove that they belong amongst the world's best. MLBB is setting the pace for women's esports at EWC and beyond!"
