President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has reappointed veteran broadcast journalist Jay Ruiz as Acting Secretary of the Presidential Communications Office (PCO).
This was confirmed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin to Palace reporters.
Earlier, the Commission on Appointments (CA) suspended the deliberation and confirmation of Ruiz due to lack of material time.
Ruiz took the helm of the PCO in February succeeding another veteran broadcast journalist Cesar Chavez.
