Operatives from the Parañaque City Police have arrested a man known as “Nori,” listed as the ninth most wanted person at the District Level and third most wanted at the Station Level for June 2025.
The arrest was part of an intensified campaign against criminals, police said Monday.
Reports said that the suspect — a 47-year-old male motorcycle rider and resident of Parañaque City — was apprehended Sunday at around 10:15 a.m. along 1st Street, Ilaya Santo Niño, Parañaque City.
He was arrested under a warrant for carnapping, a violation of Section 3 of Republic Act 10883.
The warrant was issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 274, Parañaque City, on 21 May 2025, with a recommended bail of P300,000. The arrest was conducted by operatives of the Warrant and Subpoena Section of the Parañaque City Police Station, under the direct supervision of PCOL Melvin R. Montante, Chief of Police.
Police said that the suspect is currently in custody at the station’s custodial facility, awaiting the return of the warrant to the issuing court.
Acting Southern Police District director PBGen. Joseph Arguelles commended the professionalism, coordination, and swift execution displayed by the Parañaque City Police Station during the operation.
He stressed that the arrest demonstrates the continuing commitment of the Southern Police District to uphold the law and protect communities.
