ONIC PH takes first upper bracket finals spot with win over Aurora

Defending MPL champion ONIC PH went the distance en route to beating fan-favorite Aurora on Day 2 of MPL Season 15 Playoffs this Thursday at Green Sun Hotel in Makati.

After scoring two games each, ONIC PH relied on K1ngkong's Ling backed by Edith, Zhuxin, Chou, and Harith to cop the best-of-five thriller in 19 minutes.

"Aurora and ONIC PH are the best rivals in MPL. To Renejay, you are a tough opponent. You make our games hard," said ONIC PH roamer BJ "Brusko" Parro after the match.

Now one step closer to defending their title and punching a ticket to the 2025 Mid-Season Cup, ONIC PH awaits the winner between Team Falcons and Team Liquid PH in the upper bracket final.
