Three individuals were killed early Wednesday morning, 29 May 2025, after a closed-wing delivery truck crashed into multiple vehicles along Bokawkan Road in Baguio City.
The Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) reported that the accident occurred around 3:30 AM. Authorities have yet to release the names of the fatalities pending notification of their families.
Initial investigations showed that the truck was descending Bokawkan Road when it slammed into a van that was about to ascend. The impact caused the van to spin and roll backward, eventually crashing into the glass storefront of a nearby business establishment.
The truck continued its descent, colliding with two more parked vehicles before coming to a stop.
Authorities are conducting a full investigation to determine the cause of the crash and whether mechanical failure or driver negligence played a role.
