What a night for the arts! We celebrated with the FCCP — Friends for Cultural Concerns of the Philippines — for their annual fundraising event for performing arts scholars, “Music & Fashion: Dinner Concert and Fashion Gala” at the Manila Hotel.
I dressed to the nines, of course, to match the formal dress code. Loved my fiery red gown! I was matchy with some of my friends who were also lovely ladies in red. But the real fashion part of the night was care of the amazing designers Renee Salud, Amir Sali and Frankie de Leon and their stunning muses.
Seventy-five models put their best foot forward and brought life to the creations on the runway. Meanwhile, the musical side of the program featured none other than Martin Nievera, together with the FCCP scholars as they sang a heartwarming tribute to PP Boysie V. It was a lovely showcase of Filipino talent, with tons of good times that spilled way past midnight.
Congratulations to the FCCP for launching another meaningful and successful event. I look forward to supporting your cause — anything to help the talented scholars! Cheers!
