Senator Bong Go expressed his gratitude to the Filipino people on Monday, 5 May 2025, after topping the latest Pulse Asia senatorial survey conducted from 20 to 24 April 2025.
In an official statement, Go thanked voters for their “continued support and trust” following his strong lead in the pre-election poll, where he emerged as the frontrunner among 64 Senate hopefuls.
“Maraming maraming salamat po sa inyong patuloy na suporta at tiwala. Naguumapaw po ang aking pasasalamat para sa hindi natitinag na tiwala at suporta ng ating mga kababayan sa ating kakayahan at mga ipinaglalaban,” Go said.
("Thank you very much for your continued support and trust. I am deeply grateful for the unwavering confidence and support of our fellow Filipinos in my abilities and the causes we fight for.")
He vowed to keep pushing for legislation and programs that bring government services closer to ordinary Filipinos, especially the poor.
“Ilapit po natin ang serbisyo ng gobyerno sa ating mga kababayang mahihirap, ilapit po natin ang serbisyong medikal sa mga mahihirap na pasyente,” he said. “Uunahin ko pong isusulong ang mga programang makakatulong sa mga mahihirap, yung mga pro-poor programs.”
("Let us bring government services closer to our poor fellow Filipinos, let us bring medical services closer to the poor patients." "I will prioritize pushing for programs that will help the poor, those pro-poor programs.")
Go emphasized health programs, affordable goods and services, food security, and livelihood as his top priorities in the next Congress. He also called on voters to support his fellow candidates in the Duter-TEN senatorial team, referring to them as part of the broader agenda for national progress.
"Ang kapanalunan ng Duter-TEN ay kapanalunan ng Pilipino," he said.
("The victory of Duter-TEN is the victory of the Filipino.")
The senator reaffirmed his commitment to public service, closing his statement with a promise to continue serving to the best of his ability, "Patuloy po akong magseserbisyo sa ating mga kababayang Pilipino sa abot ng aking makakaya. Muli, maraming salamat po."
("I will continue to serve our fellow Filipinos to the best of my ability. Once again, thank you very much.")
