Operatives of the District Special Operations Unit (DSOU) of the Southern Police District (SPD) arrested a high-value fugitive wanted for multiple counts of rape and child abuse during an operation Friday night in Las Piñas City.
DSOU personnel apprehended alias Aris, 44, an office clerk, at Phase 3, CAA, Las Piñas City. The suspect is ranked fifth on the provincial-level most wanted list of the Pampanga Police Provincial Office and No. 2 on the municipal-level list of the San Fernando City Police Station for May 2025.
The operation was implemented with support from the District Investigation Division, the Intelligence Section of the District Mobile Force Battalion and the San Fernando City Police Station.
The accused was arrested by virtue of multiple warrants issued by Judge Robert Alexander Razon Malig of RTC Branch 45, San Fernando City, Pampanga.
These include six counts of rape under Article 266-A of the Revised Penal Code and three counts of child abuse under Republic Act 7610 (Criminal Case 4979 to 4987). The rape charges are non-bailable, while bail for the child abuse cases was set at P108,000 and P80,000.
