A 19-year-old alleged motorcycle-riding robber was arrested by Parañaque City police just hours after committing two heists in Barangay Don Bosco.

The suspect, identified only as alias Raymond, was arrested around 11:15 p.m. after he reportedly robbed Smoke Break Vape Shop along Saudi Arabia Street at gunpoint.

The shop employee, alias Rafael, 23, immediately sought help from patrol officers of Mobile Car 316, reporting that the suspect had stolen cash from the register and fled aboard a black Yamaha Sporty motorcycle with no license plate.

Responding promptly to the report, patrol officers launched a hot pursuit operation and successfully apprehended Raymond in the vicinity.

They recovered from his possession a replica airsoft gun with a magazine, P1,170 in cash, two motorcycle spare keys, a black helmet, and the motorcycle.

While undergoing documentation at the Don Bosco Police Sub-Station, a second victim — identified as Chart, a 36-year-old delivery rider — arrived and positively identified Raymond as the same person who had robbed him earlier that day at around 2 p.m. along United States Street, also in Barangay Don Bosco.

Chart reported that the suspect forcibly took his sling bag containing P15,000 in cash, identification cards, a motorcycle key, and a mobile phone worth P4,000.

Police brought Raymond to Ospital ng Parañaque for medico-legal examination and later turned him over to the Investigation and Detective Management Section for proper case handling.

Charges will be filed against the suspect for two counts of robbery, violation of Republic Act 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act), and Batas Pambansa 881 (Omnibus Election Code), for immediate filing before the Parañaque City Prosecutor’s Office. Alvin Murcia
