Following the news of her passing, several members of the Drag Race community shared emotional tributes to honor Filipino drag queen and Drag Race Philippines judge Jiggly Caliente.
According to an official statement from her family, Caliente — whose real name was Bianca Castro — passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, surrounded by loved ones.
In the comments section, Filipino celebrities offered prayers and expressed their sympathy to Caliente's family.
On their personal accounts, some of Caliente's friends from the drag community also expressed their disbelief and sorrow over her passing.
It was previously reported that Caliente had suffered a major health setback, resulting in the loss of most of her right leg.
Caliente first competed on Season 4 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, finishing in eighth place, and later returned for All Stars Season 6 in 2021. In 2022, she became a judge on Drag Race Philippines.
