The Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas has expressed gratitude to the ruling Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) and its president, House Speaker Martin Romualdez, Wednesday for their full support of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s Senate slate.

Navotas City Representative Toby Tiangco, campaign manager, said the strong backing from Lakas-CMD, including its governors, lawmakers, and local leaders, provides a significant boost to the 11-member Alyansa slate's bid for a majority win in the May 2025 midterm elections.

"We are deeply grateful to Speaker Romualdez and the entire Lakas-CMD for their trust and commitment," Tiangco said.

"Their support gives our campaign the strength and organization needed to reach more voters across the country," he added.

During a gathering at Imelda Hall, Aguado Residence in MalacaƱang on Tuesday, Romualdez urged Lakas-CMD members to deliver a solid vote for all Alyansa candidates, calling them "trusted, proven, and handpicked by the President."

Tiangco said the Alyansa slate is united in its goal of helping advance the president's reform agenda.

"With Lakas-CMD's help, we are confident that the people will elect leaders who will work with the administration to deliver real progress," he said.

The Alyansa ticket includes former Interior and Local Government Secretary Benhur Abalos, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, Senators Ramon Bong Revilla, Pia Cayetano, and Lito Lapid, former Senators Panfilo Lacson, Manny Pacquiao, and Vicente Sotto III, Senate Majority Leader Francis Tolentino, ACT-CIS Representative and former Social Welfare Secretary Erwin Tulfo, and Deputy Speaker Camille Villar.
