At the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), Kia Philippines, a division of ACMobility, further solidifies its dedication to influencing the direction of Philippine mobility by reaffirming the Kia Movement. This campaign demonstrates the brand’s commitment to providing Filipinos with state-of-the-art performance, innovation and style. With its lineup of fuel-efficient crossovers, hybrids, and fully electric vehicles, Kia provides adaptable solutions that meet a variety of mobility needs while raising the bar for performance and design.
“At Kia, we believe in shaping the future where mobility is both innovative and sustainable. Through our Movement That Inspires, our initiative aims to bring this vision to life for Filipinos, empowering them to choose vehicles that align with their needs while embracing greener and more forward-thinking mobility,” Brian Buendia, chief operating officer of Kia Philippines, said.
Kia’s booth at MIAS 2025 is like a peek into the future of everyday driving. Right up front is the Kia EV9, a full-sized electric SUV that recently bagged the 2024 Car of the Year Award. With a 505-kilometer range, room for six people, and a charging speed that could put your phone’s charger to shame, the EV9 is clearly Kia’s crown jewel.
Then there’s the Kia Carnival. If you’ve ever needed to shuttle around a big family without feeling like you’re driving a bus, this MPV is likely on your radar. Now available with both diesel and hybrid options, the Carnival remains one of Kia’s most familiar names — except now it’s got an efficiency upgrade.
Not far from it is the Sorento Turbo Hybrid, which now wears a bolder look and brings together power and practicality. It’s a good match for families who want something roomy and efficient, but with enough muscle for long drives or packed weekends.
And of course, Kia brought out the Sonet — the smallest in the lineup, but a strong contender in terms of popularity. It’s affordable, fun to drive, and easy to live with, especially for new or younger drivers looking for their first car.
All four models show how Kia is approaching mobility from different angles. Whether you’re all-in on electric, leaning toward hybrid, or still loyal to a diesel engine, there’s something here that fits.
“We’re excited to be part of the 2025 Manila International Auto Show again, showcasing the ongoing Kia Movement. Our lineup, featuring the innovative Kia EV9, the versatile Kia Sonet, the family-friendly Kia Carnival, and the dynamic Kia Sorento, highlights our commitment to cutting-edge technology and performance. As we expand our offerings across hybrids, internal combustion engines, and battery-electric vehicles, we are driving the future of mobility, all rooted in the Kia Movement,” Buendia said.
And because auto shows are never just about looking, Kia’s giving people even more reasons to stop by. They’re offering promos like a Kia Sonet for as low as P27,000 all-in, a P40,000 discount on the Carnival EX Diesel, and a Sorento package that starts at P134,000 all-in. Test drives also come with chances to win prizes, which is always a nice bonus.
