This summer, Venchi presents A Feast of Flavors featuring authentic Italian chocolate paired with Filipino ingredients. The award-winning fine Italian chocogelaterie presented six chocolate pairings, each featuring a signature Venchi creation, complementary Fillipino ingredients, and a shot of Don Papa concoction. In collaboration with M Dining + Bar, this affair transformed Venchi chocolates into a shared love of food and drink experience between Filipinos and Italians.
The man of the hour at this unforgettable gathering was Giovanni Battista (GB) Mantelli — Venchi’s co-founder and brand ambassador — whose passion and creativity drive the brand forward. These fueled him to embark on a tour of Asia, hosting exclusive chocolate pairing events. In the Philippines, it brought together notable chocoholics, distinguished personalities, business leaders and friends from the media for an unforgettable celebration of flavor and craftsmanship. Guests indulged in a symphony of flavors as Venchi presented six decadent chocolate pairings namely Buongiorno! (Brunch), Tavola Con Amici (Lunch), Dolce Merenda (Afternoon Snack), L’Ora dell’Aperitivo (Pre-Dinner Bites), Cena Raffinata (Dinner) and La Notte è Giovane (Late-Night Cocktail). These were thoughtfully crafted to highlight the harmony between Venchi and a selection of local ingredients. Adding to the experience, Don Papa Rum cocktails are thoughtfully matched to complement each creation, offering a sophisticated, multi-sensory journey.
