LIMAY, Bataan — This town, through the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction, formed over the weekend the Limay Community Emergency Response Team (LCERT) to fast-track response in times of emergencies and calamities.

Mayor Richie Jason David said they installed Hotline No: 0921-798-8042 

(Smart, Viber, WhatsApp) where the public can easily ask assistance in times of emergencies, saying this operates 24/7.

Mayor David said LCERT composed of highly-trained personnel including Jaime G. Dolatre — MDRRM officer, Maricar R. Reyes, Wendel Pacay, Gelo Timbog, Ken Lumantas, Paolene Lumanglas, Ivan Nicole Justiniano, Mark Pascual, Arnold Bruno and Jan Clyde Collas.

Meanwhile, this industrial town has started installing solar panels at Limay Elementary School and SF II Elementary School in the town of Limay.

This project was being pushed by Mayor Richie Jason David, Vice Mayor Sarah David, Sangguniang Bayan members and Tourism chairperson Grace David.

Mayor David pointed out the objective of this project is to lower the consumption of electricity to every elementary school that are set to be installed also with aircondition unit.

The Ateneo and La Salle graduate Mayor David stressed this is one of his priority projects “we assure you that we will continue to focus on this for the improvement and improvement of the quality of education in our country.“

Meanwhile, this town has new municipal treasurer in the name of John Carlo Prieto Oracion, 29 the youngest municipal treasurer in the province if not in the region.
