Hindi nakakita ng anumang paglabag ang Department of Agriculture sa kanilang ipinatupad na maximum suggested retail price sa karne ng baboy sa mga pamilihan.

Ayon kay Undersecretary for Livestock na si Constante Palabrica, karamihan sa mga nagtitinda ng karneng baboy ay sumusunod sa kanilang ipinatupad na MSRP.

Dagdag pa nito, posibleng tuluyang bababa ang presyo ng karne ng baboy sa mga parating na buwan sa dahilan na kaunti na lang ang bilang ng kaso ng African swine fever (ASF) kaya mas dadami na ang suplay ng karne ng baboy.
