Malacañang reaffirmed on Wednesday that the Philippine government will uphold its commitments to Interpol, including assisting in the execution of additional International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrants related to the previous administration’s anti-drug campaign.

At a press briefing, Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Claire Castro said they have yet to receive information on whether the ICC will issue another warrant in connection with former President Rodrigo Duterte’s case.

"As of now, we have not received any information regarding another warrant of arrest through Interpol," Castro told reporters in Filipino and English.

She reiterated the Philippines' commitment to cooperating with Interpol Notices.

"If there is one, our response will remain the same. If Interpol requests assistance from the administration, we will still assist," she said.

An Interpol Notice is an international request for cooperation in locating or gathering information about a person, often tied to criminal investigations or legal matters. This allows law enforcement agencies in member countries to share crucial crime-related information.
