The Muntinlupa City government has approved an ordinance establishing requirements and guidelines for issuing identification cards to persons with disabilities (PWDs).
Mayor Ruffy Biazon signed Ordinance No. 2025-310 on 3 March following its enactment by the Muntinlupa City Council on 17 February.
The ordinance aims to “advocate the digitalization, verification and streamlining of the Person with Disability Identification Card issuance to protect the welfare and privileges of the genuinely identified Muntinlupa Persons with Disability,” according to the city government.
The Muntinlupa Persons with Disability Affairs Office will issue the PWD IDs to eligible applicants.
