Miss Universe '14, Paulina Vega shocks fans with motherhood reveal

Paulina Vega, Colombia’s second Miss Universe titleholder, surprised her followers by announcing that she is now a mother.

The model and TV presenter, who won the prestigious crown in 2014, shared the news on Instagram, where she also introduced her husband for the first time.

Known for keeping her private life out of the spotlight, Vega expressed her excitement for this new chapter and extended her gratitude to her supporters.

Vega was the reigning Miss Universe when the Philippines’ Pia Wurtzbach won the country's third Miss Universe crown after a 42-year wait.

She is also remembered for the dramatic crowning moment when she passed her crown to Colombia’s candidate, Ariadna Gutiérrez, before handing it over to the rightful winner, Pia Wurtzbach, after host Steve Harvey announced the wrong name.
