Paulina Vega, Colombia’s second Miss Universe titleholder, surprised her followers by announcing that she is now a mother.

The model and TV presenter, who won the prestigious crown in 2014, shared the news on Instagram, where she also introduced her husband for the first time.

Vega was the reigning Miss Universe when the Philippines’ Pia Wurtzbach won the country's third Miss Universe crown after a 42-year wait.
