A woman was arrested Sunday after a hit-and-run incident and for impersonating a police officer according to the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Thursday.
Authorities identified the suspect as Keith Valdez Bagtas — also known as Keith Bagtas Doumbia — and the suspect faces charges of physical injury, threats, usurpation of authority and violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
QCPD director Police Colonel Melecio Buslig Jr. disclosed that Bagtas, driving a Toyota Avanza, struck a Mitsubishi Xpander along EDSA at approximately 9:20 a.m. A Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) officer attempted to assist the involved parties. However, Bagtas reportedly sped away, disregarding a red traffic light.
Witnesses told police that Bagtas was wearing a Philippine National Police athletic uniform and identified herself as a police officer.
