Operatives from the Manila Police District-PS4 arrested four high-value individuals involved in illegal drug activities during a buy-bust operation on Thursday night in Sampaloc, Manila.
The suspects were identified as Mark Anthony Aviles, alias Tisoy; Kim Doloyas, alias Moymoy; John Mark Clarito, alias JM; and Eduardo Buico, alias Loloy. They were apprehended at around 9 p.m. at the corner of Makiling Street and Craig Street., Barangay 497, Zone 49 in Sampaloc, Manila.
During the operation, authorities seized approximately 500 grams of shabu, with a street value of P3.4 million, along with marked money used in the buy-bust transaction.
The operation was carried out after receiving reliable intelligence about the illegal activities of the suspects. Authorities were able to confirm their involvement in the drug trade, leading to their arrest.
Charges under Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against the four suspects at the Manila City Prosecutor’s Office. Authorities are continuing their investigation as they look to dismantle the network of drug operations in the area.
