Cheers to love!

Love is in the air again! In honor of Valentine’s Day, I don’t have my typical party lined up for you, but you’ll love it just the same. Today, I want to celebrate all kinds of love. From the romantic love to the love you can only get from the best friends.

First up is the love we find in fairytales! Love has been in the air for 25 years and more for the Syquias. Society darling, Czarina Ablaza-Syquia and her husband, renowned orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Jofe Syquia recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. They honored the special day at the same church — Santuario de San Antonio in Makati City. The Mass was even officiated by Jofe’s younger brother, Reverend Father Jocis Syquia. How lovely is that?

They also celebrated at the same reception area at the Manila Polo Club. This time, it had a modern twist. Or should I say not-so modern? Inspired by Czarina’s current favorite Netflix show, Bridgerton! We got transported back into the Regency era thanks to her wonderful brother, Jun Jun Ablaza’s artful transformation of the venue. Modern yet timeless decor! A lot of the guests had fun dressing up according to the theme, too. But the most beautiful thing about the celebration was the life that blossomed from their 25 years of love. They were surrounded by the proof! 250 of their closest friends, loved ones, and children all gathered to celebrate the happy couple.
