Elements of the Manila Police District (MPD) Station 4 arrested a 20-year-old man facing charges from a Manila court for illegal possession of firearms in Sampaloc, Manila.
Police identified the man as Asrian Mindana Abrera, alias “Tong-tong,” male, 20, single, a construction worker from Barangay 542, Zone 54, Sampaloc, Manila.
Abrera was said to be a member of the dreaded Bahala Na Gang.
The suspect was arrested along Quintos Street, near the corner of Sobriedad Street in Barangay 542, Zone 54, Sampaloc, Manila.
The arrest was made through a warrant issued by Branch 45 of the Regional Trial Court of Manila on 15 January. Bail was set at P100,000 for charges of violating Section 28(G) of RA 10591.
The suspect was detained at MPD-PS 4 pending the return of the warrant of arrest to the issuing court for its disposition.
