In addition to free medical missions and other services, the St. Gerrard Construction Charity Foundation — led by Curlee and Sarah Discaya — also offers free HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) testing to Pasig residents.

“We have also introduced HIV testing,” Sarah Discaya told reporters and vloggers in Filipino in an interview on the sidelines of the medical mission at Purok 2 Teresa, Barangay Pineda, Pasig City, on Saturday morning.

Residents were also given free hot meals.

“Actually, I have mentioned in previous medical missions that we would consider new programs to add to our initiative,” said Discaya, who is running for mayor of Pasig City in the upcoming elections.

She emphasized that HIV screening services will be conducted discreetly.

“It is not only focused on the LGBTQ community; anyone who wants to get tested for HIV can avail of this service,” she said. “For the HIV testing, although we have a booth set up, the testing process will be conducted discreetly,” she added.

The charity foundation also provides free laboratory tests (ultrasound, ECG, and X-ray), medicines, eye check-ups and free glasses, haircuts, pedicures, manicures, massages, and vaccinations for dogs and cats.

It also distributes free wheelchairs, quad canes and crutches to residents in need. Discaya vowed to construct an 11-story hospital if she wins the elections.
